Project Overview
Our goal with this project was to move away from the typical "angry monster" trope and create a character that feels lived-in and real. We focused on the subtle details—the old scars on the chest, the weathered texture of the leather loincloth, and the weight of the club.
The facial structure was a major focus; we wanted to give him a thoughtful, almost weary expression. By combining organic sculpting in ZBrush with advanced grooming in XGen for the beard, we created a character that feels like he has spent years roaming the wild. It’s a perfect example of how our studio handles high-end character pipelines for games and cinematics.
